Published on 16 June 2025 at 21:13

Day 1: Arrival & Iconic Sights

  • Morning: Arrive and dive into Piazza San Marco — take in St. Mark’s Basilica and the Campanile (bell tower).

  • Afternoon: Wander through the labyrinth of alleys and bridges — get lost on purpose and find a hidden café or gelateria.

  • Evening: Enjoy a classic Venetian dinner — try seafood risotto or sarde in saor (sweet and sour sardines).

Day 2: Gondolas & Local Life

  • Morning: Take a gondola ride — embrace the cliché but make it your own (singing optional).

  • Afternoon: Explore the Rialto Market and grab some cicchetti (Venetian tapas) for lunch.

  • Evening: Walk along the Grand Canal at sunset and enjoy a spritz or two at a canal-side bar.

Day 3: Islands & Farewell

  • Morning: Day trip to Murano (famous for glass-making) and Burano (colorful houses and lace-making).

  • Afternoon: Return to Venice for some last-minute souvenir shopping or a relaxed café moment.

  • Evening: Finish with a lovely dinner — maybe a seafood feast — and soak up Venice’s magical vibe.

Getting Around:

  • Mostly on foot and by vaporetto (water bus).

  • Gondola rides for that special Venetian experience.
